I recieved a perfect score on the Math section of the SAT and have received 5's on all Math related Advanced Placement tests. I am proficient in every area of Math ranging from basic arithmetic to calculus. I will also provide students with additional resources after tutoring sessions, whether it be notes we made during the session, an overview of the lesson plan, or online resources. I formulate my own curriculums and craft my own practice problems, graphics, and notes in order in order to teach students in an interesting, interactive way. While I'm tutoring, I make sure to adjust my pacing in accordance with the student and ensure that every gap in understanding is accounted for. Students taking this course are expected to have proficient computational skills, especially with fractions and signed numbers, without the use of a calculator. In addition, students will be required to produce written explanations for higher order thinking questions. Problem solving techniques relating to real world applications and standardized test preparation are incorporated in every unit.
