If you are trying to pair two of the same looking tiles and it is not working it means that the sequence you are doing it in will not allow the game to be finished because this would result in a violation of the rules. You can only access tiles that are not covered by other tiles, and have a free edge on their left or right hand side. To eliminate a pair of tiles, simply click or tap on them, one after the other, using your computer mouse (laptop / desktop), or your finger (mobile / tablet).
There is a clock at the bottom but there is no time limit, however, the aim is to complete it as fast as you can and attempt to beat your previous time.
